My dad was 5’9″ tall, had blonde hair, blue eyes and a very sporty body. He had a great sense of humour, loved rock music, new clothes (but sometimes never wore them) and me and mum.

He always liked to send people up, he was a great tease. I even miss that about him.

My nanny is a counsellor and writer and she wrote a poem and I want to put it here because my dad was also a Gestalt Therapist;

 	Life is....
 	a process,
 	a moving tapestry
 	of experiences...
 	of beginnings
 	and endings...
 	joy and laughter...
 	tears and saddness...
 	fears and uncertainties...
 	hurt and anger...
 	guilt and forgiveness...
 	the writing of a
 	book of memories...
 	a passionate gestalt.

I love you dad and miss you very much.
Your loving daughter Kasarn 🙁 XXXXOOOOO

Isadore Silverman

Beloved husband to Rosalind

Father to Joan, Laurie, and Renee

Father in Law to Richard and Joseph

Grandfather to Seth, Miriam, and Richard, Jr.

Here was man that was greatly admired in his community. He ran a cleaning store that his father opened in White Plains, NY. He always had a story to tell anyone who’d listen. He served his customers well with personal pick up and deleiveries of clothing.

He served in World War II as a Master Sergent in the Quatermaster Corps.

He was devoted to his family and helped care for two elderly aunts (who out-lived him). He was quick with a joke and loved to tease the kids.

His posting here, five years after his passing is to honor his memory. Your family misses you.

Rest in Peace Big D

Isador Silverman is the Father of the daughter-in-law, Hyman Korman.

I am also a suicide survivor and very sad. I just wanted to wish you and your family the best and let you know you are in my heart and prayers. Somehow, we will get thru this. Just hope and pray that God saw how much pain your brother was in. I hope he is in the arms of an Angel right now. God Bless You and Your Family, now and always.

I am sorry for your loss, a suicide is a hard thing to handle and a confusing thing to think about, just hope that he is happy now. Luv Amie

Something drew me to your site tonight. I am praying for your family and those who loved you, that God will help them bear this pain. He alone is able to heal our broken hearts.

There no sense in wishing to turn back time – I am sure the one who went has given you much before he decided to leave and even now he has given you memory. Keeping this memory in honour and alive keeps a little part of him alive. I do not know why – as I do not know neither you nor your family – I feel sorry reading your lines. I just wish to say, I do.

I do not know why you committed suicide Andrew, you took the answer to that question to the grave. I do know that I love you and miss you little brother. I wish I could turn back the clock and change things but I can’t.

I often go down to the beach where you said goodbye to the world it’s a peacful spot. Mum and Dad miss you very much, Cara and Stanley don’t understand that you won’t be comming home, they wait for you at the window.

Where ever you are think of me like I think of you.

Love Karen

He was a man who enjoyed life, and was the best father anyone could ever hope to have.

Sadly missed by his daughter Kim.
