Phil was a beautiful man who brought a considerable amount of joy into the lives of the people he met. He was well known for his wit and breadth of knowledge. He worked hard for the Terrence Higgins Trust (the HIV charity in London) for six years as a volunteer cousellor, trainer, computer operator and speaker. He will be greatly missed by his partner Graham, his parents and the other members of his large extended family.
Don’t be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.
The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.
